Feast of Feelings: A Sister Circle Reflection
In November 2024, eleven incredible women came together for our Feast of Feelings Sister Circle. This gathering left a lasting impression on me as one of the hosts. Through yoga, meditation, sound bowls, and journaling, we released the weights we’ve been carrying. I say we, because even though I’m present to hold space for each woman, I, too, am feeling and experiencing every moment shared.
The holidays often bring a mix of emotions we navigate in silence. In our Circle, we embraced it all: grief for loved ones no longer with us, the challenge of redefining traditions after divorce or life changes, and the beauty of finding family in friends when blood ties no longer feel like enough. We celebrated the joy of creating new memories for children and grandchildren, honored the strength it takes to set boundaries, and embraced the courage to let go of perfection. Through each story shared, we saw reflections of ourselves in one another, offering support, encouragement, and the reminder that none of us walks this journey alone. Together, we found a deeper connection to ourselves and to each other—leaving the Circle lighter, more inspired, and deeply grateful for this shared space of healing and renewal.
I am so thankful for each woman’s unique perspective and for how they allowed themselves to feel beyond just gratitude, embracing all emotions without apology. Each Circle humbles me with the raw, authentic power of sisterhood. Your openness helps me grow, reminding me of the incredible resilience we carry as women. Thank you for showing up so bravely, for trusting this space with your hearts, and for allowing Loni and me to guide you. May we carry the strength and connection we’ve found into the year ahead, always holding onto the truth that we flourish together.
With gratitude and love,
